Vision
The elementary program consists of grades kindergarten through 2nd grade and will add consecutive grades each additional year. Godly professional teachers, equipped with age-appropriate methods, make the elementary school a haven for learning. Bible is emphasized, as well as the basics of English, Reading, Math, Science, and Social Studies. Our program is enhanced by weekly chapels as well as special opportunities in music, art, and physical education.
Mission
At CrossLife Christian Academy, our mission is to empower students to discover and live out their God-given purpose. We will fulfill our calling when we can say that we gave both academic direction and a biblical worldview to help shape our students to be the salt and light in the area in which God places them.
General Information
CrossLife Christian Academy exists as a part of the total ministry of CrossLife Church. Our primary objective is to provide a Christ- honoring atmosphere in which to nurture and educate your children. We aspire to make our school day fun and exciting while we provide a nurturing atmosphere, with a spiritual emphasis. Students will be encouraged to discover and live out their God-given purpose.
Faculty
Teachers at CrossLife Christian Academy have the proper spiritual as well as academic qualifications. Teachers are college graduates at the bachelor and master’s level and are certified by Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI) and National Alliance of Christian Schools (NACS). Each teacher embraces a Christian philosophy of education. These teachers carry out, under the guidance of the administration, the purpose of the institution in the classroom and on the campus.
Academics
At CrossLife Christian Academy we believe it is important to have a strong academic program that will allow our students to excel. Training in Christian character demands that a student does his/her best in every endeavor of study.
We have partnered with Bob Jones University Press for K-5th grade textbooks.
BJU Press has developed these core values we found to support to our mission:
Biblical Worldview
In Christian education, the Bible is discussed in Bible class and chapel—but how does it apply to other academic subjects? We shape each subject according to the lens of Scripture. Each discipline takes on new meaning when we apply the themes of Creation, Fall, and Redemption.
Academic Rigor
Our educational materials are not just biblically faithful—they are also academically sound. Our materials use hands-on-learning, creative problem solving, and other research-proven instructional strategies to motivate students to take an active role in learning and to master age-appropriate material.
Critical Thinking
A complete education goes beyond facts and processes, so our textbooks direct students to think for themselves. They are encouraged to use discernment and to consider their worldview in everyday situations. Our textbooks help students to develop skills in critical thinking with inductive teaching, hands-on-learning, and probing questions.
Accreditation
